日高地方の川でもサクラマスが育っています。小さな支流で生まれたサクラマスの稚魚たちは、流れの緩急を使って身を守りながら成長しています。早い流れで身を隠し、安全ならば緩い流れに出て餌を探します。
Wild Masu salmon juvenile are growing up by using properly high and low speed flow at small stream. High speed flow will protect them from natural enemy and low speed flow is good for taking feed.
